Frequently asked questions
Hotfox tubs produces high quality acrylic hot tub liners.
We can produce just the liner or the whole tub.
Our acrylic liners are extremely rigid, strong and durable, so your hot tub or integrated whirlpool will last a long time.
We have been working in this field for more than 8 years, so we are professionals in our field.
We can produce up to 40 inserts per day, depending on the colour you choose, and production can take between 5 and 30 days.
Hot Tubs
First of all, if the number of people and comfort are important, we do not recommend a round hot tub. Although the seating capacity looks large, there is not enough legroom. The optimum number of people for all round hot tubs is 4, but seating capacity is 5-8. All square tubs are suitable for 5-7 seats.
No, we no longer sell fibreglass tubs. In the past, when fibreglass liners were the only alternative, we used them, but with the advent of Acrylic, a much more advanced, higher quality, stronger, more environmentally friendly material, we have switched to acrylic liners only. We know that acrylic is the future of hot tubs, so in another 2-3 years, all hot tub liners will be made exclusively from acrylic.
Our standard hot tubs are the most popular, most frequently purchased options.
All you need for a hot tub is space, electricity and water. The hot tubs are ready to use, and if you don't have an electricity source, you can integrate some batteries or generators.
Without a water filtration system, the water in the hot tub needs to be changed quite often. We always recommend purchasing a water filtration system to make maintenance easier and save time. More detailed maintenance information will be provided during the consultation.
A simple and frequently asked question. A hot tub usually costs between €3000 and €4000, depending on the specifications chosen.
Other issues
We make hot tubs every day, but there is usually a queue of about one to two weeks (depending on the season). In Lithuania, hot tubs are delivered the day after production. Abroad, hot tubs are delivered within 1 week.
The heating time of the hot tub depends on the time of year and the desired temperature. In winter, it takes 2-3 hours to heat up, in summer 1.5-2 hours.
You can place the hot tub anywhere, but we do not recommend placing it on grass, preferably on a solid surface. The best option is to build the hot tub on special tiles with holes for water to drain off, which will extend the life of the hot tub even longer.
An acrylic hot tub has a low maintenance cost and can be cleaned with simple household chemicals. With a water filter, you will change the water very rarely, so once you have a hot tub, the main costs will come from electricity and firewood. You can also polish an acrylic hot tub, so if you want to upgrade it, there will be a small polishing cost.
Often customers are disappointed because they have previously used fibreglass tubs that start to discolour, become stained, slippery and absorb odours. Acrylic tub liners do not have these disadvantages.
