We all know that the more parts there are, the more likely it is that there will be a leak at one point or another. The acrylic liner is made of a solid material.
As the acrylic panel is painted before it is cast, it is saturated with paint. Why is this an advantage? No matter how much you put into the acrylic, you'll see the same colour, so scratches are harder to see.
Acrylic has no pores. It does not absorb oils, odours or fade. In contrast, glass fibre coated with a gel absorbs oils and becomes slippery, fades and stains over time.
The thick material makes the structure more solid, feeling like you're standing on a solid floor.
